This devise can be used free of charge by passengers to determine the amount of carbon produced in their flight, as well as the amount of carbon produced in travelling to the airport. It is hoped that this carbon calculator spurs passengers to be more conscientious with their travelling habits and learn to live more lightly on the planets resources. The project was jointly funded by Gansu Radio Media, Shan Shui (Environmental NGO based in Beijing) and Green Camel Bell.
